The Director of Network and Data Center Services is responsible for managing EA’s global 24x7 hardened data center facilities, and network infrastructure to support EA''s core business systems, product development, online gaming environments and customer facing web presence. This position will drive definition and execution of global network and hosting strategies that provide EA highly reliable, flexible and cost effective network and hosting services. EA''s environment is highly distributed and dynamic. This position will work closely with internal sponsors and external service providers. The position requires the ability to balance multiple stakeholder needs while maintaining an enterprise-wide view.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Develop a strategic network and hosting services plan that serves as multi-year roadmap for architecture and investment decisions in facilities and network infrastructure services.
- Drive the development and management of IT service roadmaps, project estimates, resource plans, departmental budgets and operational processes for function
-Analyze, recommend and implement solutions that meet Operations business requirements.
- Ensure alignment with business objectives and internal business partner roadmaps
- Lead a global team responsible for managing 24x7 hosting and network services in a matrix model that includes solid and dotted-line reports
-Interface with EA online business partners and internal organizations on a day-to-day basis providing problem resolution and configuration support for all hosting and network products and services. This includes escalation of Service troubles and implementation requests.
- Build a high performing team through staff development, recruiting and retention that can support EA''s growing business needs
- Develop leadership and technical skills within the organization and via partnerships (outsourcing/offshoring)
- Establish and improve operations and performance management
- Ensure monitoring, measuring and reporting of service performance against Service Level Objectives, customer satisfaction and financial efficiencies with services
- Ensure appropriate systems and service continuity plans are defined, in place and exercised regularly.
- Identify and prioritize risk and opportunity areas within function for appropriate action.
- Partner with IT teams, business partners and strategic suppliers to deliver end to end solutions.
- Manage strategic partner/supplier relationships to ensure maximum leverage for EA.
- Create, track and report hosting and network infrastructure services key performance metrics and benchmarking
- Responsible for ensuring EA processes and policies (such as Change Management) are adhered to including all SOX / PCI / Security controls.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 10+ years experience with managing an online production based networking and hosting team
- Must have 10 years of direct program/project delivery experience with highly available networks and data center or hosting facilities.
- Proven ability to develop architecture and provide design oversight that incorporates high availability, operations supportability and scalability to a high volume, rapidly growing world class IT organization
- Hands-on, in-depth technical abilities with a big-picture mindset: have the ability to move forward in those cases when the best technical solution or operational process must be compromised for compelling business reasons
Strong business acumen, communication, problem solving abilities and a can-do attitude
- Good organizational & planning skills and ability to anticipate and prevent crisis
- Innovative, good attention to details
- Proven success in deploying and managing enterprise-class hosted applications in a 7x24 environment
- Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to work effectively at executive levels
- Ability to work comfortably in highly varying levels of abstraction across business strategy, product strategy, high level technical design, detailed technical design and implementation
- Director level experience in highly complex IT infrastructure environment with responsibility for similar job functions
- Experience in applying best practices to improve quality and cost of IT services
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high volume, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution, presentation, and customer service skills
- Management experience with technical delivery teams in business-facing roles is highly desirable
- Bachelors in Computer Science or related IT technology required; Masters preferred

Sr. Oracle Financials Techno / Functional Analyst:
Position Summary:
The Oracle Financials Techno Functional Lead will provide the functional, technical and project management expertise to deliver IT solutions and services that meet EA’s business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provide functional and technical expertise on Oracle Finance modules, namely, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, iExpense , iProcurement and iSupplier for medium to high complexity projects and initiatives
- Provides functional and technical expertise with any boundary system applications within finance domain
- Oversees and drives the technical phases of projects within specific application and/or technology area using internal and external resources
- Drive medium complexity projects in project management capacity using EA’s D&I methodology
- Provides L3 technical application expertise (as and when necessary) to ensure efficient day to day operation (inc. month end closure); Oversight and accountability for resolution of outages in coordination with other groups
- Oversee future implementations and/or upgrades and ensure that support standards are in place
- Support business partners by providing functional expertise for finance modules and advise on improvements
- Drive continuous improvement of the Financial systems; includes development of application roadmaps, standardization of business processes
- Ability to keep up with trends, relevant system development technologies within application and/or technology domain
- Supply guidance to and work with other strategic partners, ensuring regular knowledge transfers and service levels are met
- Work across IT teams and business units to create solutions and participate in initiatives

Analysis/Design:
- Analyze customer requests for feasibility
- Provides development estimation and scheduling

- Conducts detailed design reviews, code reviews, and test reviews with developers (and where appropriate the Design Architect)
- Responsible for adhering to consistent development methodologies as defined by the Architecture Council/PMO
- Manage and mentor developers on and off shore

- Ensures development conformability with IT standards and enterprise architecture

Job Qualifications:

- Have knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL (TOAD), Discoverer, Oracle Forms, Reports , 6i/2.5, Forms 6i/4.0/3.0/2.3, OA Framework, BC4J, Jdeveloper, XML Publisher, Warehouse Builder
- Experience with source control systems (e.g. CVS or Perforce)
- Ability to get work done from others
